WHAT THAT MOUTH DO? Ethiopian food baby! ahah


– sambusa: thin, flaky dough stuffed with minced meat and/or veggies. (I opted for lentils).

– lamb tibs with gomen: tender cubed lamb in a blend of spices, onions, tomatoes, peppers, and spiced olive oil. Gomen is fresh collard greens sauteed with onions, garlic & Turmeric.

– beet and potato salad

– kitfo: Ethiopian-style steak tartar! freshly minced extra-lean beef seasoned with mitmita and Ethiopian spiced butter. Mitmita is a spicy powdered seasoning used in their cuisine.
